I love cheese!
Who doesn’t? This No-bake Cream Cheese and Chives Pie is absolutely perfect. Cream Cheese and Chives is my go-to combination. It is the perfect dip for any party. The first time I tried it I was hooked. It is simple and obviously DELICIOUS!
I know everyone is entitle to their own opinion, but to be honest with you there is nothing better than getting the ok, when someone tries one of recipes, I mean I get super excited. This dip is my friends favorite.
My mom is a huge inspiration for me. She is my number one supporter and most of my recipes are inspired by her. I remember she took this Hors d’oeuvre course (many, many, many years ago), and she had to make multiple dips using CHEESE! I was in heaven for like a week, I remembered this combination in specific and obviously made it my own.
What do you need to make this:
- Salted Crackers
- Unsalted Butter
- Cream Cheese
- Chives or Scallions
- Tomatoes (for garnish)
- Olive Oil (for garnish)
- Parsley (for garnish)
This pie crust is made of salted crackers and butter. Butter is what keeps it together. Once you form the crust, it should be placed in the fridge for at least an hour. The butter will solidify, and the pie crust won’t crumble.
I used tomato, chives, parsley, granulated salt and olive oil to garnish the pie. It is the perfect summer party recipe.
- 2 cups salted crackers
- 1 cup butter
- 2 cups cream cheese
- 2 tbsp chopped chives
- 2 fl.oz milk
- salt and pepper
- Break the crackers and place in a food processor, and pulse until the crackers are crushed into fine crumbs. Place crumbs in a bowl.
- Melt the butter and pour into the crackers, make sure is well combined. Once ready, press into a pie pan. Place in the fridge for an hour.
- In a blender or food processor add the cheese, chives, milk, salt, and pepper. Fill the pie crust with the mixture and reserve in the fridge until ready to cut.
